Video Project Proposal

Video Project Proposal I have chosen this option for myself, because I feel that I can best express myself through my videos. Making videos is a passion of mine, and they are the best platform which I can get my message across. This is a good way to reach the students, because by actually physically watching a video, rather than reading something, they will be able to understand what I am trying to convey. The video will be of friends and family, answering the simple question- why do you read? For some, reading is a very important aspect of their life. In a short response, they will answer the question in their own words. The question will be presented on the screen in the beginning of the video, which each clip showing the different responses from the people in the video. The characters in the video will just be everyday people, not all reading enthusiasts. I plan to have music in the video, playing in the background. 1. I have had mixed experiences with English classes at U of D so far. As a student, I enjoy English a lot. My experience just depended on the teacher that I had, and the classroom environment. One thing that I really enjoy about English classes at U of D is the fact that we can let our creativity flow, and it has always been an interesting subject to me. In English class, it is really interesting to gather in a circle, and just discuss what we are reading. This allows all of us to see each others perspective, 2. I enjoy reading certain genres. Some of my favorite genres are nonfiction, and historical fiction. I really enjoy these genres, because I like to learn about the past, and I find it helpful to know certain things. Whether it is a book on a band from the 60s, or an event that happened 100 years ago, I find these genres very interesting, and they are my favorite. 3.
