Infographic Debate Project - Does technology get in the way of learning?

Above is my infographic, on how technology helps us learn, rather than getting in the way. Learning with technology does not involve just the classroom. Technology in general, helps mankind learn so much about the world around us. It keeps us engaged, allows us to easily learn information, and constantly changes the world. Without technology, we would be far behind where we are today.

Reflection:
1. I picked this topic, because technology is something we use everyday. I also disagreed with the fact that technology gets in the way of learning, because what it does for us is so important. I picked this side, because technology helps me everyday in school. In fact, this blog is using technology, and it is helping me learn. I definitely believe in my statement, because it impacts my life everyday, and it changes the world we are in.

2. When researching this topic, I found it pretty clear that the benefits of technology, and how it helps us learn, greatly outweighed the other side. People can get distracted by technology, but that does not speak volume to say that technology helps us. Rather, it makes learning easier, more engaging, and more available. It was easy to stay focused, and remain biased on my side, because of the great benefits that it has.

3. I tried to make my infographic easy to understand, with strong points to persuade people to my side. I used different fonts and colors to make certain things stand out more, such as titles. I tried to keep the background a consistent color, so it flowed more. I also used research, such as studies, to show how technology effects people in the real world. I made all of these choices in attempt to keep the reader attentive, and to make sure that they understood everything. If the reader can not easily understand my infographic, then there is no point in making it at all.

4. I do think my infographic is effective in convincing my audience towards the idea I was assigned. With the charts and the statistics, readers can see how technology helps us in a learning environment. The facts I pointed out can not be denied, and I feel that my infographic will be very effective.
