Fantasy/Science Fiction

I prefer to read fantasy over science fiction. Some of my fantasy novels that I have read are The Ranger's Apprentice, Harry Potter, The Lightning Thief, and many others. I prefect fantasy over science fiction, because it expands what is possible. In fantasy, literally anything you think of can become reality, I really enjoy that aspect of the genre. I still really enjoy science fiction, such as the Hunger Games novels. In the end though, fantasy is my favorite over science fiction. 



My favorite fantasy or science fiction location from a novel or movie is the Star Wars universe. When I was a kid, I was absolutely obsessed with Star Wars, and the characters/setting. I love how unique each character is, and the different characteristics of the universe. I would want to go there myself. Despite the constant danger that the characters were always in, I think it would be a crazy adventure, and would be worth whatever happens.

    Ive never heard of the book but I have heard and seen some Start wars. definitely a classic Science fiction movie

    I own a copy of The Ranger's Apprentice (#1) in my classroom library, but I have yet to pick it up. Maybe this blog post is the inspiration that I need!

    Yes I totally agree that anything in fantasy can become reality. I also really enjoyed the star wars series and still do.

1. I have had mixed experiences with English classes at U of D so far. As a student, I enjoy English a lot. My experience just depended on the teacher that I had, and the classroom environment. One thing that I really enjoy about English classes at U of D is the fact that we can let our creativity flow, and it has always been an interesting subject to me. In English class, it is really interesting to gather in a circle, and just discuss what we are reading. This allows all of us to see each others perspective, 2. I enjoy reading certain genres.
